Introduction

In English we are reading a book called 'The Ruby in the Smoke' by Philip Pullman. Our job is to analyze the characters in the book over the course of 6 weeks. The class was split into 2 groups of 4 pairs, each pair has to look at different things, e.g. characters, dark and dirty, locations and Sally Lockhart, characters.
After every chapter each pair writes in their blog the quotes and phrases they have found to do with there particular thing. At the end of the 6 weeks, Mr Dobson will judge all 8 blogs and give prizes to the winning group.
To win extra points for the group, every chapter a pair from each group must search for all the vocabulary that they think the class will not understand and post it as an comment on the vocabulary buster.
